Jamie Field is a photographer that specialises in natural light photography. He likes to work with available light to capture moments within real time. His style predominantly features organic situations, preferring to react to the environment and people around him.

“ My photographs are something that develop naturally for me. I think that when I immerse myself in a place, story or person I begin to visualize what I want, the urge to capture it ignites something inside of me. Whether the image is staged, documented or a combination of both, that urge takes over and the creativity develops. ”

Jamie’s love of photography began when he picked up his first film camera and developed his first roll of film. Since then he has been exposed to many different photographic formats. From weddings to commercial headshots to documenting Tribesmen across Africa his enjoyment of capturing and creating knows no bounds.

Jamie has worked with notable industry leaders such as assisting Barry Jeffreys at Direct Digital, X Factor’s Olly Murs, assisting on a Take That video shoot and photographing The Ritz resident pianist Ian Gomes. Most recently with Tobias Ellehammer’s final Jackson Tribute video – SCREAM.

Jamie’s appreciation of the people that he meets and of the world at large reflect his love of life, music, art and all things light.
